Ministers of Interfaith Community Church

Mission:

"To create a home of love and truth
as a center of light
for all seekers of divine wisdom."

Goal:

"To encourage personal growth in
unconditional spiritual love."

Our Vision

Interfaith Community Church (ICC) has a growing, evolving and inspired approach to interfaith ministry. Each minister is dedicated to helping ICC fulfill its Vision, Mission and Goal within their own unique and unfolding ministry. Each of our chosen ministers first served the community for many years and distinguished themselves as servant leaders before being Called into service as a minister of ICC.

Our Ministers: Rev. Debra Lajimodiere, Jamal Rahman, and Karen Lindquist.

Ministry at ICC is about serving and listening and responding to the deep need of our time, spiritual leadership based in compassion that finds the harmony and unity of all faith and spiritual traditions.

Each of our ministers has their own spiritual path that intersects with other paths through the pathway of the heart. Each shares from their own spiritual path while lifting up all paths and supporting all ways of worship, praise and spiritual practices that deepen a connection with spirit. Our ministers also maintain and cultivate a deep inner life of contemplation and reflection as seekers of divine wisdom.

In 2007 the Ministers of ICC created a pathway for members to study interfaith ministry alongside them by establishing the Associate Ministry program. Admitance into this program is by an invitation from the Ministers. Currently, Steven Greenebaum, Sibyl Lundy and Linda Stern have accepted the invitation.

The Lotus: a symbol of spiritual evolution, rebirth and enlightenment!
The Lotus rises from under the mud of ponds and streams to flower at the surface of the water.
Each night, the flower closes and sinks underwater, and at dawn, it rises to the surface and opens again.
The flowers themselves have 15 or more oval petals with a flat seedcase residing in the center.
The pure white Lotus is an exception, as it is a night-blooming plant, and the only flower that simultaneously flowers and fruits. In ancient Egypt, and in many cultures throughout history,
the Lotus flower has been a symbol for spiritual evolution, rebirth, and enlightenment.
